Frequently asked questions
Where can I learn more about you?
You can visit the Meet Jessica page to learn more about my background, approach, and what led me to this work. I share a bit of my story, my clinical training, and how I support couples and individuals through attachment-based therapy.
If you're curious whether we're the right fit, I also offer a free consultation—sometimes the best way to get a sense of the connection is through a real conversation.
Which states are you licensed in?
I am provisionally licensed to practice in Colorado as a Social Work Candidate. Clients outside of this state must be coaching clients, meaning they do not require a mental health diagnosis or assistance with managing mental health issues.
What is your cancellation policy?
Your session time is reserved exclusively for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule, I kindly ask for at least 72 hours’ notice so that I can offer that time to another client.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 48 hours in advance will be charged the full session fee, except in cases of emergency or serious illness.
We’ve tried therapy before and it didn’t help. How is this different?
Many of the couples I work with have been in therapy before without much change. My approach is rooted in the Relationship Theory Model (RTM)—a neuroscience- and attachment-based method that goes deeper than communication tools. We focus on emotional safety, bonding, and breaking the cycles that keep you stuck.
Do you see clients in person or online?
All sessions are held online through a HIPAA secure portal.
How much are services?
Because every couple’s needs are different, we’ll discuss rates during your consultation call. This allows us to first determine if we’re the right fit and ensure the structure of our work is aligned with your goals.
Do you accept insurance?
I currently operate as a private-pay provider only and do not accept insurance or provide superbills. This allows for greater flexibility, privacy, and freedom in the work we do together—without being limited by a diagnosis or session caps.
True healing happens not in isolation, but in the presence of someone who sees and stays.
